March 8-14

Ok, I totally jumped on the bandwagon. I needed a book to read on vacation, so I grabbed these from the library and now I'm hooked. I swear I won't turn into one of those "Twilight Moms" and get a decal on my car or go to conventions. They are just fun, mindless reading...I swear! (no offense if anyone reading this does one of the above mentioned things!)

Bryce and I were drawing and playing with stickers and he covered himself. I wish my "picture of the day" could be more interesting, but most days, this is the highlight of my day!

Big Girl is 5 months old today!

Bryce has been OBSESSED with the boots these days. He puts them on by himself (as you can see they are on the wrong feet), and he insists on leaving them on all day.

Went to St. Clair Shores to have dinner and drinks with Darcy and Sarah. Good times. We ended up at the Plaid Rabbit. Very classy place.

Hung out at Mom and Steve's and had dinner for Steve-o's birthday.

March 1-7

Last day of vacation :( Always a sad day. Dan and I slammed about 3 drinks before the shuttle came to the hotel. How pathetic!

Back to reality. My little weirdo. I was wiped out and we didn't really leave the house. Not to mention it snowed the entire day! Can you tell he has cabin fever?

Yay! Nice sunny day. We bundled up and went for a little walk outside for a while.

Taking advantage of the nice weather this week. A new house is going up around the block and Bryce was mesmerized by the big trucks blowing insulation into the house. He seriously stood like this for almost 15 minutes!

I let Cortney talk me into playing indoor soccer with her at 8:00pm. Since I haven't touched a soccer ball in over a decade, and I'm usually in bed by 9:30, this was very interesting!

It's pretty sad when the temp says 44 degrees and you are actually happy about it!

Remember when I said he has OCD? This is him cleaning out the garage. Full on shop vac and gloves. Yup, that's my husband.

Feb 22-28

Somehow my children allowed me to get some scrapbooking done. I even did these 3 layouts to hang up in my scrapbook room.

While my husband is over the top OCD about cleaning, somehow this is his idea of helping me clean up after dinner. I know I don't cook often, but when a do, a little help cleaning up would be nice? He says he is "letting it soak". Funny thing is that it "soaks" until the next morning when I wash it.

I know...feet...gross. I didn't have time to get a pedicure before Mexico, so just did the old home version.

And the mess begins. We were on our way to Mexico...no kids, no worries right? Well until Delta screwed up our flight. We spent 3 hours at the Delta help desk (what an oxy-moron), then spent the rest of the day in Detroit waiting for the next flight to Cancun. Missed a day and a half of our 5 day trip!

Friday- Finally on an airplane headed to Cancun. (and we got some first class seats for all our "trouble".) I was determined to drink them broke!

Saturday- A vacation without children. There are no words to describe this!
Sunday- Isn't this just beautiful. I didn't want to ever leave!

February 18-21

It's amazing what the sun can do for your mood in the middle of winter! It was so nice to have the sun shining all day, except that it showed me how desperately my floors need to be cleaned...ugh.

We don't do "play dates" nearly as often as we should. It really is a lot of work to coordinate everyone's schedules, and work around naps. We did it though. Kathryn, Noah, Charlie, Sarah, and Kalya came over for lunch and play.

This kid is such a goof. He was wearing around his sunglasses, even after the lens popped out. Too funny.

Mom and Bryce went to the library on Saturday and found another book about trucks. Bryce has an obsession with trucks right now. He can point to every type of truck when you name them.

February 14-17

February 14- Totally crashed the Spaniolo house for Valentine's day. We ordered pizza and let the kids run wild. Very romantic!

February 15- My camera died, and I forgot to charge it. Didn't get a picture all day, so I just snapped this beauty in the tub with my phone...good enough!

February 16- Borrowed this jumper from Aunt Amy and Syd was loving it! I was actually able to take a shower while she was awake!!

February 17- Syd's 4 month well visit. She is over 15lbs now! Had to get 2 shots today...bummer :(

Catching up...Jan. 21 thru Feb. 13

February 13- Breakfast at IHOP, then a very lazy Saturday.
February 12- Dan's awards banquet at the Amway.

February 11- Syd was letting me take her picture and actually smiling. So happy today!

February 10- Tried out Meijer's Grocery Express. Phenominal! My new favorite thing!

February 9- Came home to a flippin blizzard. Not really, but it snowed all day!

February 8- LOOOONG day of travel. We were so ready to be home. Kids did pretty well though.

February 7- Bryce enjoying the pool. Watched the superbowl later that night.

February 6- Wedding day! Everything was beautiful. Just a few snapshots of the many I took.

February 5- Wedding rehearsal and "welcome reception" for all the guests. Cute pic of the bride and groom.

February 4- Relaxing while we had some warm weather. Today was pretty much it!

February 3- Arrived after a very stressful morning of travel. Enjoyed some time at the pool.

February 2- Packing for Florida. I get a little nervous and pack pretty much everything when I travel.

February 1- My sweet little Sydney is getting so big! I could just eat her up!

January 31- Lazy Sunday around the house. Dan working on his Best Man speech for Darcy's wedding.

January 30- We tried out a new sitter and had a hot date. Actually we went to the mall and pizza at Old Chicago. Whatever, it was a night out of the house.

January 29- Not sure why I have this as my picture of the day? Went to BW3 for dinner and came home for a few more drinks? Maybe I was drunk??

January 28- Long overdue hair appointment. Good bye gray hairs! I will see you in 6-8 weeks.

January 27- Went to Corner Bar with Joe, Amanda, and Family. Darcy also came into town and joined us.

January 26- Anytime Syd's pj's have zippers, Bryce has to play with them. She just watched him while he played. I sure hope these two get along as they get older!!

January 25- Tried to get a little Scrapbooking done and this is what Bryce does to my room while I work.

January 24- Heat Wave! Got up to almost 50 degrees. Everything melted and we got a quick glimpse of green again!

January 23- Sydney is finally warming up to Dan. I was getting worried! :)

January 22- Can't believe how independent Bryce is becoming. He is getting so good with the spoon. (finally)

January 21- Everyone is sick...is this a bit much?
