We caught the crud! Bryce came down with a nasty cold over the weekend, so I took him to the Doctor to rule out pink eye and ear infection. He was in the clear...and nice enough to share with his sister and I.

Met up with Cortney and Kevin in Novi for Devon and Brandon's Birthday. So nice to get out for a few hours and feel normal again!

Tried to go shopping for Florida and Mexico, but all we ended up with were a $10 t-shirt for Dan, and a bathing suit that I didn't even try on...what?

went outside for a walk and played in the snow. Took advantage of the 38 degree weather we were having!

Hate to say this in writing for fear it won't continue...but Syd is (almost) sleeping through the night. It's not on a regular basis yet, but almost! Sweet Jesus, thank you!

Took the monster to get a haircut. So much better! Managed to work out and take a shower today. This is huge!

Brutal! Got a headache today that turned into a migraine. Pretty much let Bryce do whatever he wanted. Got a short nap while kids slept, then a little hamburger helper, a little Bachelor, and BED!

January 10

Sunday. Went to church. We had to work in the nursery. There were 6 crying babies. 2 of them were ours. Bryce was the oldest...by about 6 months. It was brutal. Lots of snot and tears! Got home and took naps. Ran some errands. LOVE Target. Talked Dan into some new lamps for living room.

Big Girl!!! I put Syd in the Bumbo seat and she did great! 3 months old and she totally sat up so well! I swear she did like it despite what her face looks like in this picture!

This song is Bryce's current obsession. "boom boom boom" is what he says to me about 100 times a day. Seriously! We are listening to it right now as I upload this.

Mom was in town today, so she hung with the kids so I could get out for a while. I met Dan downtown for lunch then stopped by the "hooker cooker". Gotta get ready for Florida!

Yay! My kit arrived today! Seeing the Fed Ex truck arrive was the highlight of my day! That is really sad now that I've said it out loud. Anyway, I was super excited to open everything up and put my album together. I really need to get out more!

Need to grocery shop today. This is Pathetic!

Took down the high chair and now let Bryce eat right at the counter. It's interesting! Today we went to church and drove over to Muskegon for the afternoon. Both kids screamed the entire way home. No photo to document that crap!

Went shopping with Sarah Hansinger today. Found a bathing suit that actually covers my horrific scar. Also bought 30 day shred. I have exactly 30 days before florida to do something with my "problem areas" We'll see! Also found 3 cute pairs of shoes for Bryce...not one of them fit.

New Year's Day! I chose to start Project Life on the first day of the year for simplicity. It will normally be a week from Monday through Sunday. Bryce was playing out in the snow with Madison. This was the first time he got to use his new snow pants and boots. He didn't make it outside very long because of how cold it was!
